MARION COTILLARD is also a singer, songwriter and an environmentally active with Greenpeace. She is also the face for Dior's "LADY DIOR" advertising campaign.

Born 15.03.1975 to Mexican American family in Texas, EVA LONGORIA is most known for her acting career in Desperate Housewives as Gabrielle Solis. She has also starred in soap opera The Young and the Restless, in films such as Harsh Times, The Sentinel and Over Her Dead Body. 

EVA LONGORIA has graduated as Bachelor of Science in kineosiology and pursued her Masters in Chicano studies at California State University. 

She has worked her entire life starting at Wendy's while studying and when auditing for acting positions, she worked as headhunter, and now after Desperate Housewives she holds contracts with L'Oreal and Hanes and is the face for Magnum Ice Cream. She also opened a restaurant "Beso" in Hollywood and a failed attempt in Las Vegas. She has also written books and is a big philanthropist. 

In addition to her impressive CV, she is also a real fashion icon and beautiful woman with her impeccable sense of style.

COMPANY PROFILE: IVY KIRZHNER NEW YORK

While checking celebrity photos, I bumped into Jennifer Lopez wearing Ivy Kirzhner pumps. I had never even heard of such brand before. So I found out that behind this beautiful shoe brand there is a true New Yorker, Phillipine-born American, Ivy Kirzhner, who has impressive background in fashion.

Ivy began her career after graduating Summa Cum Laude in Accessories Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She worked with over 25 American and international footwear brands over the past decade before launching her own brand.

She launched her own brand IVY KIRZHNER NEW YORK in 2012 and is now represented in various countries worldwide and in some of the major department stores such as Printemps in Paris, Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong and online stores of Saks and Neiman Marcus. Well done for a new brand!

Ivy describes her footwear collections, "For my footwear collection, I wanted my designs to fuse elements of timeless luxury with a nod to historic iconography and world antiquities."

RUTHIE DAVIS launched e-commerce

New York based RUTHIE DAVIS has launched e-commerce. The shoes are beautiful, colourful, daring and classy! Uber chic! She offers 100$ off from shoes bought on her website with code: RDLOVE. 

RUTHIE DAVIS has impressive background; she has majored in English literature and visual arts and went to earn her MBA from Babson and worked her way up at Reebok, UGG Australia and Tommy Hilfiger before launching her own RUTHIE DAVIS brand in 2006. Her slogan is "Work hard, persevere and live your dreams." A bit of a cliché but worked out well for her at least.

The brand is sold at prestigious department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Harvey Nichols, spanning over 35 countries and 100 locations. Now she has finally launched in January 2014 a new e-commerce at www.RuthieDavis.com. 

The shoes are designed in New York and handcrafted in Italy. Browsing at the website, I find that the shoes are absolutely GORGEOUS!! The celebrities that wear her shoes include LADY GAGA, BEYONCÉ and NAOMI CAMPBELL among others.

KATE SPADE 21 days in Monaco, Monte Carlo

KATE SPADE New York is now inspired by MONACO. The Brand is promoting Monaco, sharing travel tips and has collected items to pack in the suitcase when travelling to Monaco this Spring/ Summer. 

Pretty clever thinking Kate Spade, as the Tennis tournaments, Top Marques and F1 Grand Prix are all coming up and everyone is contemplating  what to wear!

JIMMY CHOO launched the new CHOO.08 collection in Milan. The Creative Director of JIMMY CHOO states that she wanted to create a line of shoes for women to wear also during day running errands and feel comfortable but without losing the feeling of glamour and attitude how they would feel during special occasions wearing a pair of Jimmy Choo heels.

The collection does not have the same wow-effect as would a collection of beautiful heels have, but I have to admit that these shoes are more practical for taking the children to park and running errands. NEW BRAND: OSCAR TIYE - Chic, classy women's heels

While browsing Milan Fashion week photos at WWD, I bumped into new name OSCAR TIYE. I tried to see more of "him" online, but website is "Coming Soon" and I found very little of the brand. However, I did find an article about the Creative Director of Oscar Tiye brand, Amina Muaddi, and her Instagram.
